Lmao, yeah I always thought about that too, on many of these series, even more about the females as they would need better hygiene than the guys because of obvious reasons (though both should shower regularly). But I'd imagine what they'd smell like especially in the adventure type anime/donghua (more of the ones in older time periods where showering wasn't as accessible) as the characters were always adventuring, fighting, training, etc...so you know they were marinating in sweat aha. So how long they went without bathes/showers, again, especially the women as it'd be embarrassing for them to have bad hygiene (bad body odor). It seemed like none of them both men & women didn't comment on it either.

In donghua, the characters would wake up, go eat breakfast (without showering, brushing teeth, etc...), go do their daily tasks, then go to sleep in their clothes that they traveled/trained/fought in all day, and wake up doing it all over again lol. They woke up and instantly went out without doing any hygienic tasks (not even brushing their teeth). I remember in one recent anime "The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt" the Prince MC mentioned why his female assistant was keeping more of a distance than usual, and then teased her asking was it because she was stinky ahaha (as they've been at war with another country for days or weeks on the battlefield being unable to take regular showers/baths). Honestly, they all must be some smelly a$$ mofos stinking up the place with sewer rat B.O. smh. Couldn't imagine what it'd smell like to be in a room with these people, let alone a group of them, I'd pass out from all the clashing body odor filling up the room.

I still could never get over the fact these old heads, just be kicking back giving liquor to minors look like. Damn if somebody Told me the age restriction in china for people to start drinking wine and alcohol is 16 I know something, but IDK I'm just guessing that's all.

In China the drinking age was set at 18 in 2006 but in many parts people of any age can drink in the presence of adult family members or authority figures.
Before 2006 there was no legal drinking age.

Wow just wow sounds amazing, but definitely with a concerning outlook tho.

When I was 13, I went to one of these Caribbean islands, there was an area where a dance floor, seating areas and dj booth/sound systems were in water that came up to around your ankles if I remember correctly. Well the drinking age was 12/13, a buddy of mine and myself ordered some alcoholic beverages with no problem and wasn't being supervised by an adult. The waitress joked about how old we were as she brought us our drinks lol. I had a blast there, I remember how shocked I was being able to order alcohol at my age and not having to sneak some aha. Good times.
